A nightmare story
This story has
happened two years ago. I was reading a book in my room when suddenly I hear
something strange. It was a soft voice, just like two girls giggling with each
other. it was not just any giggle but it was just the kind of giggling you hear
in horror movies. I put my book aside and listened to it for a while. After holding my breath for about two minutes
then I decided that it must have come from outside. Again that night when I was
about to fall asleep, I hear it again. It was the same thing. There were two girls
giggling. It was 2 am and I hardly recognized that these two girls couldn’t be
outside of my window at that time, so I began to feel a bit freaky. The two
girls continued giggling so I jumped out of my bed and decided to spend the
rest of the night in the guest room. I was convinced that my room was haunted
by ghosts. For the rest of the week I did the same thing. I avoided staying in
my room, so I decided to stay and to spend the nights in the guest room. I was
ashamed and a bit afraid to tell anybody, because they would rather make fun of
me or they wouldn’t believe. By the end of the week I was a mess, terrified of
my room. Every time I went to my I would hear those two girls giggling. Then
one day my brother came to me and says “are deaf or what?” I was very confused
all the time. He told me of this device he had installed in my room. That was a
device easily hidden and could make different noises. My brother had chosen the
sound of the two girls giggling. My brother was very surprised and wandered why
I hadn’t heard it. Finally I realized that my room was not haunted at all.
